Chris was born in Lagos in 1967. His father was an eminent Nigerian neurologist; his mother an English doctor ran a hospital.

Chris Dada is an award winning TV commercials director. He is represented by Academy Films. He has directed spots including, Pot Noodle, Heinz Salad Cream, McDonalds, Lycos, Ikea, Travelocity, Kmart, Airbus, Abbey National, Renault, Hutchinson, Central Office of Information, Royal Bank of Scotland, Boots Pharmacy and Citroen Cars and recently Argos and Natwest.

He has won numerous awards including Creative Circle Golds, British Television Awards, a Creative showcase Gold, has been a Cannes finalist and been featured in Saatchi & Saatchi’s World Top 100 Directors.

Chris specialises in narrative led commercials and his work is noted for dark humour and features strong casting and performances.

Chris grew up in London and trained as an actor before attending the prestigious film school at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. His first short film, “The Outsiders”, was a documentary shot at Nottingham Prison. Another short, IC1 White Male, was a drama documenting the life of a Kings Cross heroin addict. It also did the festival circuit and was selected for representation by the British Council. Both films were bought and screened by T.V. channels in the U.K. and Australia.
