Jeppe Ronde has directed feature films, TV series, documentaries and commercials since graduating from the University of Copenhagen in 2002.
His debut feature, ‘Jerusalem My Love’ won countless international prizes and his second, ‘The Swenkas’ won Jeppe the best International director award at the Toronto Film Festival. He’s won several ‘Roberts’ (which are the Danish equivalent of the Oscars) for his tv and feature length documentary work.
In commercials, Jeppe was voted the top director in Denmark in 2010, and at the Cannes Ad Festival in 2013, he won a Gold Lion for Best Direction, plus a bronze for cinematography for Come4 ‘The Lover’, a seemingly seedy look at one mans obsession with sex and prostitution, with a twist. The film also won the Craft Grand Prix at Eurobest.
Jeppe has recently finished his latest feature, 'Bridgend'. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film festival in New York, winning 3 of the 6 main awards - Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
