PETER CATTANEO TAKES ONE FOR THE TEAM
Peter Cattaneo’s latest spot for Carlsberg asks the nation if they’ve got what it takes to become the ultimate England football fan. Featuring cameo appearances from Des Lynham, Ian Wright, Stuart Pearce and Brian Blessed, the film takes us on a tour of Carlsberg’s Fan Academy. Here we see footie fans being put through their paces by the sports stars as they endure biting winds, fine tune their chants and sit through nail- bitingly tense penalty shoot outs all in an effort to graduate top of the class as England’s Greatest Football Fan.
The film was shot in and around London and Buckinghamshire, lit by Adam Kimmel and cut by Sam Rice-Edwards at The Assembly Rooms.
