TWIN

Biography

TWIN

TWIN brothers Jonathan and Josh Baker are an innovative, Australian born, New York based directing duo.  The pair started out independently as motion graphics designers at two of Australia’s most prestigious post production houses.  They then began directing commercial projects, before joining forces, creating TWIN and moving to New York in 2007.

As a result of their post-production background, the pair have real technical prowess in telling stories with visual effects.  They seamlessly blend everyday beauty with touches of post that feel part of the idea, rather than overpowering it.  Incorporating dazzling photography, TWIN create backdrops that are both wildly imaginative and rooted in real world emotion.

2018 saw the release of TWIN's debut feature - KIN, starring James Franco, Zoe Kravitz and Dennis Quaid.  The film centres on a boy who discovers a deadly, other-worldly weapon.  KIN is an adaptation of their short film, Bagman, made a couple of years earlier.

TWIN's unique skill-set and reputation has led to work for a wide range of clients and agencies from all corners of the globe, including Honda, Powerade, AT&T, Gillette, HP, Nissan, Hyundai, Wrigleys and Heineken.
