Luke Davies

Luke Davies

Luke graduated from the London Met Film School in 2015 with his short, ‘Unleaded’. The film went on to win at the Seattle International Film Festival and picked up two Young Director Awards in Cannes.

Since graduating, Luke has made a home for himself in the music scene, directing videos for artists like Avelino, Mabel, Rich The Kid, Jax Jones, Monster Florence and grime OG Bossman Birdie. The latter two earned Luke two UKMVA nominations, a Gold at Kinsale and a Best Video nomination at the MOBOs.

In 2018 he directed a series of lifestyle spots for TAG Heuer, and the short film ‘Sorry About Your Wife’, saw him return to Cannes for a third YDA.  In 2019 Luke created a standout promo for Elderbrook and Rudimental in which 'This Is England' star, Michael Socha joins a support group and finds a unique way to express himself.

#ALifeInterrupted is Luke's latest work, which he both wrote and directed.  The film tells of surfer Doug, and the unique challenge he faces riding the famous break of Northern Scotland town, Thurso.

Whether shooting a high concept music video, a slick commercial campaign or crafting a narrative riddled with dark humour, Luke’s work carries a consistent tone and close attention to craft.
